About Me

Qualifications & Experience 

I qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist at University of East London in 2004.
I completed a MA in 2009 also at UEL.
I completed a Certificate in Person Centred Supervision at the Metanoia Institute in 2012.
I am an accredited and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I hold full professional insurance.


Since qualifying, I have worked as a counsellor in a variety of settings with a range of client groups.
I have worked in Primary Care with clients referred by their GP’s for counselling.
I have also worked in the voluntary sector for organisations including The Violence Initiative (TVI), West Hampstead Women’s Centre, and the London Irish Women’s Centre.
I have a particular interest in working with young people. For the last seven years I have worked as a counsellor for Brook, a charity which supports young people around sexual health issues. I also work in a large secondary school in Haringey.

Group Facilitation 

I facilitate personal development groups for trainee counsellors on the Diploma in Practitioner Counselling at City Lit.
I facilitated a mental health support group for Irish Women at West Hampstead Women’s Centre, which ran for seven years.
